Lisa Strahs-Lorenc
Lisa Strahs-Lorenc became a career counselor because she had no career counseling. She pursued a degree for which there were no jobs and had no Plan B. She has owned two career counseling businesses—Career Aide and Go Career Compass and worked in the workforce development industry for over ten years. She has worked with people of all ages and stages to discover what they are best at. She has also specialized in non-profit organizations and in outreach to educational institutions. She does individual career counseling and has facilitated workshops for the local community. She has owned three other businesses and has worked as a marketing manager for a number of diverse companies. She was known as the “Road Warrior” in one of the non-profits on Long Island because of her presentation and networking skills. Her passion is for people to “Do What They Love So That They Love What They Do.”
